Clojure/West is launched!

I am very pleased to announce that the Clojure/West conference has launched!  The first edition will be March 16-17th, 2012 at the San Jose Marriott in downtown San Jose.  Prior to the conference, several training classes will be available at the same location.

I've been running the Strange Loop conference for several years but by day I've been part of a great Clojure team at Revelytix.  I am really excited to put my background in both areas together in creating a new event for Clojure enthusiasts to get together and share their experiences.  

The conference will have a mix of traditional keynotes and sessions as well as hack-fests and birds-of-a-feather style gatherings.  The call for presentations and registrations will open in December.  If you'd like to be notified of either, please join the Clojure/West mailing list!  You can also watch this news feed for updates.
